We rally round after Storm Eunice

Unfortunately, like many others, we have fallen victim to Storm Eunice. The storm has created thousands of pounds worth of damage to the park. Thankfully, the animals were safe and were unharmed by the storm.

The extensive damage meant we couldn’t reopen to the public on Saturday 19th February.

Luckily our amazing staff, family and friends rallied round to help clear fallen trees, fix fences, and turn over shelters meaning we could reopen today!

Jimmy said he was very proud of his staff commenting “Wow – what a team! You guys are the best even when times are the worst!”

Although we can reopen there is sadly still some lasting damage such as tears in the events tent. Our General Manager Stevie Sheppard said, “We still have some areas to secure and finish but we will get there. We couldn’t have done it without our fantastic team.”

Anyone who had tickets booked for the two days they were closed have been contacted and given a flexi ticket. If you have any questions please contact our lovely Customer Service team on [email protected]

We look forward to a fun week of half term activities for Suffolk February Half Term!

Donations

We’ve had so many kind messages asking how to donate money to rebuilding our animals’ enclosures after storm Eunice we have set up a justgiving page.
Any support you can give to help our furry residents, most of whom are rescues, would be so greatly appreciated at this difficult time.
