Booking / Tickets

  • Booking are for Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park, Pannington Hall Lane, Wherstead, Ipswich, IP9 2AR.
  • Bookings are for 1 day, valid for the date and time selected at time of purchase only. Access may be denied if you visit without a booking or for an invalid date. As of 26th August 2021, if you have bought flexi tickets these are valid for a year from your purchase date.
  • Bookings are subject to availability.
  • We reserve the right to request proof of age to ensure that the correct ticket has been purchased.
  • Payments for bookings are non-refundable.
  • As of 4th August 2021, tickets are transferable up to 48 hours in advance. Please send us an email at [email protected] to do so, or if you booked since 28th July 2021 you can do this yourself by logging in to your account.
  • To gain entry you must show booking (barcode ticket on your phone or print out).
  • Members and Zoo Partner Members must also provide their membership card.
  • Discount codes for bookings can be discontinued at any time.
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to allow admittance to children under the age of 16 years without a full paying adult or adult member. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times inside the park.
  • Our tickets are not available for resale and we do not accept tickets bought via a third party unless arranged and approved by a member of senior management.

Terms of Entry

Entry to the Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park site, including free and paid-entry areas are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Entry below.

  • Full clothing must be worn at all times.
  • Smoking is not permitted on site unless in designated smoking areas.
  • You are not allowed to leave your pet in the car unless accompanied by a responsible adult. This applies at any time of year and weather conditions. Anyone found with a pet in their car will be asked to leave, without refund being made.
  • Cars are parked in the Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park car park at their owners own risk and Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to vehicles, their contents or persons.
  • Children aged 16 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times whilst inside the park
  • Bicycles, scooters, children’s cars, skate boards, rollerblades, or roller skates are not permitted within Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park.
  • Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to visitor’s possessions inside the farm site or in the car park
  • Photography for commercial use is not permitted without the expressed permission of Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park.
  • Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park will not tolerate physical or verbal threats towards its staff and operate a complete zero tolerance policy. Any visitors behaving inappropriately will be denied access to, or told to leave immediately, without refund being made.
  • Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park reserves the right to close any or all parts of the zoo as necessary. Displays and trains can be temporarily withdrawn without notice due to animal sickness, inclement weather, power failure or for any other reasons. Refunds cannot be offered under these circumstances.
  • Non adherence of terms and conditions of entry will result in being told to leave immediately without any refund being given.

Animal Experiences

Availability

All Animal Experiences are available every day apart from Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Please book well in advance to ensure we can fulfil your preferred date.

Please advise at time of booking if anyone taking part has additional requirements including a disability, pregnancy, diet or immunosuppression which may require an encounter to be varied or changed.

Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park does not allow pregnant women to take part in an Animal Experience without first seeking advice from their doctor.

All participants under the age of 18yrs must be supervised by a responsible adult over the age of 18yrs throughout their Animal Experience.

We are committed to safeguarding and the protection of children whilst they enjoy their visit around Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park. As part of Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park safeguarding policy towards children, Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park as the employer, along with our employees, make a commitment to safeguarding young people’s welfare. We fully support the current government policy in their goal to protect young people; to
prevent physical, sexual or emotional abuse. As employers, we do not believe our close encounters are deemed as a regulated activity as governed by the Secretary of State’s statutory guidance on supervision of activity by workers with children. Despite this, Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park does request that all children under the age of 18 are supervised whilst undertaking close encounters, as part of our own Safeguarding Policy ensuring adequate supervision at all times.

The Gift of an Animal Experience or The Gift of an Ultimate Experience

The ultimate experience or experience voucher will be emailed to you, for you to give to the intended recipient.

The ultimate experience or experience voucher can only be redeemed against an animal experience (not general experience).

All experiences must still be booked in advance online. When the recipient of the gift would like to book in their experience, they must add their chosen experience to the basket with an intended date and then enter the gift voucher code provided to clear the balance.

Cancellations and Changes

Payment will be taken when you make your booking.

All Animal Experiences are non-refundable. They are non-transferable unless due to exceptional circumstances including illness/injury, pregnancy, bereavement or jury service – this is at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park discretion and evidence may be requested. Refunds can only be made to the purchaser. If a refund is agreed on a £20 fee (inc 20% VAT will be charged)

Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park reserves the right to reschedule or cancel an Animal Experience at any time if necessary.

Annual Membership

Annual membership is for 1 calendar year and starts from the date of purchase. From 22/10/21 ‘annual membership gifts’ will be valid for one year and start from the date the card is printed and activated in Customer Service. The deadline for activations must be before 31st January 2022 otherwise the date printed on the card will be 31st January 2022 regardless of date of collection and no exceptions can be made.

Membership is valid for the named annual membership holders only and is not transferable.

Additional proof of ID may be required upon entry to the Wildlife Park or redeeming of discounts.

Membership offers are not valid on special events.

To benefit from this membership, at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park or our partners, your card must be presented at admissions on arrival. Refunds or discounts cannot be given retrospectively.

Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park and it’s affiliates reserve the right to withdraw or change any special offers or discounts at any time.

Concessions membership includes O.A.Ps and people with registered disabilities. This offer does not apply to members of special forces or emergency services.

Should any part of Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park have to close due to adverse weather conditions or matters of health & safety we cannot guarantee to extend membership expiry dates. Membership expiry dates and extensions thereof are at the discretion of Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park.

We reserve the right to change the list of qualifying Partner Zoos and Attractions at any point without warning. Please check our website for up to date list.

Annual memberships are non-refundable.

Vouchers

You can use a voucher in our Farm & Wildlife Park, The Farm Shop and catering outlets. Making it the perfect gift for everyone!

  • Vouchers cannot be used in our concession stores.
  • Please print the voucher to use when visiting us.
  • If you are planning to use your voucher for Park entry, please head to customer service upon arrival for your voucher to be exchanged for tickets.
  • The voucher cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash.
  • Where the face value of the voucher is not used in full, no change will be given.
  • Cash value is 0.000001p.
  • This voucher can be used towards the value of goods at the higher price that is face value upon payment of the difference.
  • Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park is under no liability to replace vouchers that are lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed whether they have been redeemed or not.
  • Vouchers re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain will be void.
  • This voucher is redeemable only at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park.
  • Valid for 6 months from date of purchase unless otherwise stated on the booking.

Coach parties

  • All prices include VAT charged at 20%. We require payment in full at the time of booking to secure your trip.
  • We request full payment 10 days before your booking at which point finalised numbers of coach party attendees are required.
  • Payment will be charged for the number of children/adults attending the visit . A VAT breakdown will be on your receipt and will be issued at time of payment.
  • Due to commitments on the farm and with filming, we cannot guarantee that Jimmy will be on the farm however, you may be lucky!
  • No refunds will be given for bad weather.
  • Suitable footwear and clothing are required. Jimmy’s farm takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to visitors’ property or person.
  • Prices may be subject to change.
  • Dates can be provisionally booked in advance but bookings received without full payment are not secure.
  • The minimum number for all bookings is 10 people.
  • Please note, in making a booking with Jimmy’s Farm for a Coach Party trip, you agree to the all terms and conditions.

Restaurant events terms and conditions

Making a booking

  • Provisional bookings are welcome although this does not constitute a confirmed booking until the following terms are fulfilled.
  • Bookings will be treated as provisional until full payment has been received. Provisional bookings may be made available to other customers without notification.
  • To secure a function booking, full payment is required.
  • To secure a Christmas Party Night booking, full payment is required.
  • A booking is only secured once full payment has been received and cleared by Jimmy’s Farm.

Fees

The prices of Jimmy’s Farm events, products and services are as quoted on our website, menus, in the Events Brochures and/or as confirmed by the Events Team.

Jimmy’s Farm reserves the right to amend our listed prices without prior notice, although this will not affect a confirmed booking.

Prices are typically quoted inclusive of VAT, at the prevailing rate, unless quoting for a business or corporate customer.

Confirmation of requirements

Final guest numbers and requirements for your event must reach the Events Team no later than 14 days before a function event.

Whilst Jimmy’s Farm appreciates that the number of guests can change, the full number of confirmed attendees will be charged at full price, even if the number of guests reduces after the 14-day watershed. If the number of attendees increases, please make the Events Team aware by email and they will do their best to accommodate.

Jimmy’s Farm cannot guarantee any amendments on the day of the event. If there are any last-minute changes, please consult a member of the Events Team who will endeavour to accommodate your request.

Payments

Full payment is required to secure a booking and you will receive an email confirmation with your tickets. This does include a VAT breakdown.

Failure to pay within these terms, may result in all your future events at Jimmy’s Farm being cancelled; foregoing any deposits and may incur interest at 3% over the Bank of England base rate, at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park discretion.

Cancellation policy

Unfortunately we cannot issue any refunds for cancellations.

For ticketed events, it is occasionally possible to transfer the ticket to another subsequent event although only with notice two or more days prior to the event date and with specific confirmation from the Events Team.

In the event of Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park cancelling the booking date, an alternative date will be provided or any money already paid by the customer will be refunded in full this is at jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park’s discretion.

Externally supplied food, drink and equipment

  • Due to food safety controls and our business model, consumption of food brought in from offsite is not permitted at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park.
  • If you wish to bring your own wine onto the premises, prior consent must be given by Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park and a corkage charge shall be made. Please contact our restaurant for the charge per bottle.
  • In some circumstances it is possible to bring a celebratory cake or pudding, although only following prior approval from the restaurant and a cakeage charge of £10 per cake may be applicable to cover plate-up and wash-up.
  • Third party decoration, equipment and entertainment providers will be subject to Health & Safety, Food Safety, insurance, quality and any other standards as defined by our Standards Officer. This is at the sole discretion of Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park.

General terms

All bookings are subject to these terms, which supersede any previous terms.

  • Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park reserves the right to amend terms at any time without notice, although the current terms are available at www.jimmysfarm.com and any amendments to terms governing confirmed bookings will be notified by email.
  • In the event of supply difficulties Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park reserves the right to substitute goods or services of equal quality and value.
  • Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park will not accept any responsibility for any loss, damage, delay or other disruption in supply and deliveries brought about by delayed or incomplete payment.
  • In the unlikely event of a power cut, we will take reasonable steps to ensure power is restored with minimal disruption. Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park will not issue and refunds and reserves the right to close due to health and safety.
  • We may take and use photographs or video footage of events on the farm, to be used for social media and marketing purposes, if you do not wish your image to be used, please let us know.
  • All food allergies and intolerances must be communicated to Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park in writing. We will endeavour to fulfil dietary requirements but there may be circumstances where this is not possible (by process of our risk assessments) to guarantee no cross contamination has occurred.
  • There is ample parking at the venue, but Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park accept no responsibility for damages or losses incurred from using our facilities.
  • Guest’s vehicles can be left overnight at owner’s risk but must be collected by 10:00am the following morning.

Event tickets may be refunded on the terms of the event or the demonstrator / promoter.

The Big Beef Night 2021 Additional Terms & Refund Policy

Tickets are non-transferable. Tickets are non-refundable unless due to exceptional circumstances including illness/injury, pregnancy, bereavement or jury service. This is at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park discretion and evidence may be requested.

If you need a refund on your tickets because of illness/injury, pregnancy, bereavement or jury service you must let us know before midnight 29th October 2021 (for bookings on 12th & 13th November 2021) to receive a refund in full.

Refund requests after midnight 29th October 2021 will not be processed and no refund will be given.

It may be necessary to group tables or bookings together, meaning you may share a larger table with other diners. You will not be made aware in advance of this, and seats cannot be requested.
