Frequently asked questions
Yes, you can bring a picnic into our Farm & Wildlife Park.
We have lots of picnic benches and grass areas dotted around for you to sit and enjoy your lunch.
You are not allowed to leave your pet in the car unless accompanied by a responsible adult. This applies at any time of year and weather conditions.
Anyone found with a pet in their car will be asked to leave.
Some experiences are not suitable for those in a wheelchair, this is for safety reasons in the extremely unlikely circumstance that one of our animal’s temperament changes. The terrain of the enclosures are not even and can be muddy.

Yes we are! A large majority of our visitors are families and visit with pushchairs.
Please note that due to being on agricultural land we are limited to what materials we use to make a path. As such, we do have gravel paths. Please be aware, some people have reported it tiring pushing a pushchair/wheelchair on the gravel.
We do! We have a Tramper all-terrain mobility scooter available to hire. Please email [email protected] to book.
Members no longer need to book a slot – please turn up and show your members card at the gate. If this is the first time you are visiting since purchasing a membership, please bring your confirmation email and a card will be made for you.
Visitors with disabilities may bring a carer with them who will not be charged.
Please bring appropriate documentation such as a PIP letter, blue badge or disabled rail card.
We don’t have electric car ports for you to charge your electric car. There are however, some locally at large supermarkets.
Child tickets and memberships are eligible for those between 2 and 16 years old.
Please note, under 2’s go free.
No, you can’t choose a start date. Memberships will have a start date of the date of purchase.
If you purchase before 12th April 2021 (our reopening date) then memberships will start from 12th April 2021 so you don’t loose out while we are closed.
Yes, memberships will be extended for the length of our closure. This will be calculated on your next visit to us and the expiry date of your card will be changed.

Yes these are included in your admission. Please check out our daily keeper talks and animal activities board on arrival for timings. Please note, these are seasonal.

Yes, we welcome our four legged friends on a lead. Unfortunately we don’t allow dogs in the Restaurant with the exception of guide dogs.
There is lots to do here including the Wildlife Park, play areas, shops and restaurant. Whether you have 2 hours to spare, half a day or a full day there is lots of fun to be had!
Alternatively, buy Annual Membership and you can visit Jimmy’s Farm as often as you like over the next 12 months. It’s great value and means you can take your time discovering everything we have to offer. Find out more about Annual Membership»

A couple of things to note… some of our attractions are seasonal (such as the butterfly enclosure) and that we are a working farm and so during wet winter period pack some wellies so you can go sploshing in the puddles!
