This remarkable achievement reflects nearly 25 years of passion, hard work and dedication. What began as a small farm has grown into one of the country’s most unique visitor destinations, bringing together farming, wildlife conservation, education and unforgettable family experiences. To receive this national recognition is a moment of immense pride for everyone involved in the Jimmy’s Farm journey.

What is the The VisitEngland Awards?

The VisitEngland Awards for Excellence are regarded as the highest accolades in English tourism, celebrating the very best businesses, attractions and experiences from across the country. The awards recognise excellence in quality, innovation, customer service and visitor experience, with finalists progressing from regional tourism awards before competing on the national stage. This year’s awards ceremony was held at Aerospace Bristol beneath the iconic Concorde Alpha Foxtrot, where we were honoured to celebrate alongside some of the most outstanding tourism and hospitality businesses in England. The awards showcase organisations that continue to raise the bar for the entire visitor economy and champion the very best of English tourism.

Our success on the national stage follows our achievements at the Suffolk & Norfolk Tourism Awards earlier this year, where we were recognised among the region’s leading visitor attractions. This achievement belongs to the entire Jimmy’s Farm family. From our animal keepers, conservation teams, gardeners and maintenance staff, to our chefs, retail teams, volunteers and front-of-house staff, every single person has played a vital role in helping us reach this milestone.

From welcoming new species and developing award-winning habitats to launching innovative conservation initiatives and creating memorable experiences for visitors, every step has been driven by a commitment to doing things differently and creating meaningful connections between people and nature.
