We’re delighted to share some very special news from Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park. Mum Azizi, has welcomed a beautiful new foal, Beau!

This precious new arrival has already stolen hearts, and we’re thrilled to see mum and foal settling in together. From those first steps to discovering the world around him, Beau’s early days are a wonderful reminder of the magic of new life on the farm.

Beau is not only a very special new arrival, but also part of a species with an important conservation story. Grant’s Zebras are classified as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List, making every new arrival and successful breeding an important part of helping to safeguard these remarkable animals for the future.

Today we said goodbye to our Asiatic lion, Kamal. Whilst today is a sad day for us all we also celebrate the long life of Kamal. Reaching the remarkable age of 16, he became Britain's oldest Asiatic lion in captivity - an incredible milestone for an Asiatic lion.
