Nobody does docile domestics quite like Jimmy’s Farm! You can choose to have your Farmyard Friends experience with any one of these amazing breeds: Sheep, Goats, Pigs or Cattle.
Why not help to feed the playful goats, who love human attention and a good scratch? Or meet our rare breed Piglets and hear all about the work we do here at Jimmy’s Farm to support rare breeds.
If you choose cattle you’ll see our wonderful Highland Cows!
The ever-hungry Sheep are always happy to meet and greet new people for a small price of some food. Or meet our native breed cows and learn how we care for them.
Cattle experiences are temporarily unavailable but you can still choose from pigs, sheep or goats.
FARMYARD FRIENDS
DURATION: 30 MINUTES
PRICE: £65 per person
MINIMUM AGE: 8 YEARS
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Duration, price, minimum age: see above.
- Minimum ages to participate are detailed by each encounter.
- Maximum number of participants is 4 people (2 for “Anteater Antics, Bear & Big Cats”).
- It is entirely the choice of the animals whether they wish to participate in the experience or not. Luckily the promise of some tasty treats normally proves all too tempting, but sometimes they may not be in the mood; in which case you will enter their environment and get to view them up close whilst being told all about them by your supervising ranger.
- Our experiences include entry to the farm and wildlife park for the whole day. Any additional guests will need to pay full entry price.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON THE DAY
- Upon arrival at the park, by 11.30am, check in with the pay desk to let them know you’re here. Please note, the big cat experience time is set at 10am, please ensure you arrive in enough time.
- They will get in contact with the rangers to determine the closest possible start time for your experience.
- Until then, you are free to walk around the wildlife park, check out the shops or get some food.
- Meet the ranger at the designated place and time and have fun!
Sturdy Shoes must be worn by participants; they must cover the foot & toes and be suitable for harsh weathers as certain experiences can get muddy.
Trousers must be worn during the experience.
