Savouring Summer at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park
With the summer holidays beginning to come to a close, a day at Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife Park is a great way to soak up those last few weeks of family fun! We have loads of different activities for you and your little ones to enjoy alongside the amazing array of animals to see… here are our recommendations!
Visit our shops!
We have a wide range of different stores and shops across the park to choose from so there is always something for everyone to enjoy! Our farm shop is home to exceptional local produce such as a selection of decadent local cakes and biscuits for all of the sweet tooths and over the deli counter, you will also find delicious sandwiches and sausage rolls made with our very own bacon and sausages for the perfect ‘Farm to Fork’ light bite to keep you going for an exciting day in the park.
The gift shop is the perfect opportunity to get the great souvenirs to remember all the fun you had during the day. From cuddly toys of the animals you’ve spotted in the park to Jimmy’s Farm apparel and even some wild artwork to decorate your home. Find a gift for the fellow animal lovers in your life or choose to treat yourself to some of our exclusive merchandise! And for the sweet spot of your visit head over to Wildlings. Whether you prefer chocolates, gummies or fizzy treats, this shop is bound to have your favourite. Pick ‘n’ mix all of your favourite treats and enjoy bursts of sugary goodness as you make your way around the park.
Let your little wild ones run free in our play areas!
We have a variety of different areas for your little ones to enjoy. Your children will love jumping on our bouncy pillows, climbing and sliding on our wooden playground, crawling in the tunnels in the giant sandpit, and so much more! We also have lots of play vehicles for them to ride around on to explore and enjoy their freedom within the park. Our woodland is another amazing space for them to explore. They will be able to experience the beautiful green space around them whilst learning more about the wildlife and insects that live within it. As you enter the woods you will see all of the amazing dens that have been built by previous guests of the park- try your hand at building the perfect shelter from the fallen branches!

Across the park we have several different places to grab some tasty food as you make your way round.
The Barn is our main restaurant and serves a wide choice of options to cater for all. Find the perfect breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake pairing served by our brilliant restaurant team. If the barbecue is more your style, check out The Lion’s Den and choose from a selection of juicy burgers, loaded hot dogs and smoked specials all washed down with a crisp Crafted Conservation beer. Alternatively, stop in at The Field Kitchen to grab something on the go such as sub rolls, children lunch boxes, sausage rolls or maybe if you prefer something more substantial, they also serve pasta dishes, loaded fries and jacket potatoes. And after all that I hope you have saved some space to enjoy some desserts from the donut hut and the ice cream van!
Learn something new!
Throughout the day our incredible rangers give talks about all of your favourite animals at the park, with no extra cost to your ticket! You will learn all about the species of the animal and their impact in the wild, but you’ll also gain a deeper understanding of the specific animals we have here. Our rangers spend all day with the animals so they know everything about their unique personalities and the little quirks that make them special. Check out the “What’s on at Jimmy’s?” board as you enter the park to find out when the talks will be happening to make sure you don’t miss anything!
As you can see there is always something for everyone at the park so make sure you get your tickets and come and see us before the summer ends!
