Fundraising for a new meerkat enclosure …

Steve McQueen has been giving us the run around for far too long!

Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park is home to a very special group of 14 meerkats, but one individual has decided that it’s just not good enough for him any more.

Steve McQueen, quickly became one of the stars of Channel 4’s ‘Spring at Jimmy’s Farm’ due to his multiple escapes from the meerkat enclosure. After many failed attempts to modify the enclosure, we are pleased to say that we have been able to contain him… for now!

Creating the ultimate mob hang out

We would like to build a new, bigger enclosure for the meerkats to improve their environment and to enhance the visitor experience so you have a better chance of spotting our television star.

The brand-new enclosure for Steve and his family would be the ultimate place for the mob to hang out.

Our meerkats need your help…

Unfortunately, new celebrity homes (enclosures) don’t come cheap and Meerkat mortgages are in short supply!

On a serious note, due to the lockdown and the impact of COVID-19 on our visitor numbers and income, all of our new builds have been put on hold.

As it is likely to be up to a year before we are able to resume previously planned upgrades, we would like to ask for your help and have created a GoFundMe page where you can give us a donation that will 100% go towards the new Meerkat enclosure.

Any donations over £200 will be invited with their family/guests to a personal keeper experience to meet Steve McQueen and his family at a date to be arranged.
