Introducing the newest members of our team… Polly and Preston

Polly and Preston are six banded armadillos and have travelled to us from Longleat Safari Park. They’re both very friendly and inquisitive and will be great additions to the park.

Did you know?

  • Armadillos are great diggers. They have long claws and strong arms which help them to dig.
  • They sleep in burrows at night to keep away from predators.
  • Armadillos have bad eyesight so they use their smell and touch to feel their way around.
