New rare breed pig litter success

Mabel and piglets

Earlier this year our pedigree Middle White boar, Boris, went on breeding loan to Morrow Farm in Essex to cover a Middle White sow called Mabel.

Well… great news!

This was a successful breeding, and we now have another generation of pigs that are listed as a priority breed by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.

Mabel had a littler of 8 piglets and one of the gilts (a female pig under the age of 1) is coming back to the Farm so keep your eyes peeled to meet her!
