Jimmy’s Farm Confirms Postponement of Harvest 2012

Jimmy’s Farm has confirmed that there are no plans for a festival on the farm this summer but will be making a comeback for 2013.

Following in the footsteps of Glastonbury, Jimmy and Michaela have decided that the focus this year is very much on the Olympics and the Queen’s Jubilee – all being celebrated in style at the farm.

The farm equally has its own landmark to recognise this year.  Jimmy celebrates an incredible ten years farming on the 26th and 27th May and party plans are being put into place for a big farm hoedown.  Jimmy and Michaela are also expecting their second child in July and feel that enough is being attempted this year.

Jimmy said ‘It’s been a crazy 10 years and we need to focus on the nation’s big dates. Equally, I can’t believe we’ve reached ten years here at the farm – it seems like yesterday that I was a fresh-faced young man and we started with just eight pigs… where on earth did the years go.’

Six hundred pigs on, Jimmy is adamant that the festival will return but is keen to maximise its impact next year.

‘Harvest will be back as the country’s best food, music and family festival – but we’ve got to prioritise this year and make the right decisions for our customers and the farm.’
